The boys and girls at Art Asylum have updated their shipping calendar, which means we’ve updated ours as well.

Art Asylum has released packaging shots of the upcoming second coming of Wolverine to Toys R Us shelves, and in the process confirmed the line-up of this second wave.

As the curtain falls on the 2009 San Diego Comic Con, we take a look at the highlights.

It’s Thursday, and the San Diego Comic Con is officially under way.

2009 has been dubbed the “Year of the Minimate” in some circles, and looking at what we’ve seen so far this year, that isn’t exactly an over statement. How much have you spent so far this year? How much will you spend by year end?

On a regular basis, the gang over at Art Asylum compile questions from their fans and present them to DSTChuck in a segment they call Ask DST.

It seems that the X-Men Origins: Wolverine wave of Minimates has clawed its way into many Toys R Us stores around the nation. The Toys R Us wave features three sets from Wave 26: Congo Wolverine & Deadpool, Wolverine & Blob, and Logan & Sabretooth, plus two exclusive sets: Weapon X Wolverine & Silver Fox and Origins Wolverine & Agent Zero.

In an effort on my part to ramp up a more steady update schedule, we’ll be adopting a Monday/Wednesday/Friday update schedule. A brief update as ToyFair 2009 kicks off. Action-Figure.com has images posted from the event, more specifically from DST’s offerings. Outside of what we expected to see (Marvel waves 25 & 26 and Terminator 2 wave 1) DST had a few curve balls to throw our way:
