In perhaps the first real look at the inevitable sixth series of Toys R Us exclusive Marvel Minimates, the Art Asylum Facebook team has a picture of some of the Storm figures we’ve gotten over the years, plus one that we haven’t. Yet.
No word on the final line-up or just when these will be hitting stores. Let the speculation begin!

I know I’m in the minority, but Storm is one of my all-time least favorite characters, and I don’t currently have a Storm Minimate amongst my collection. Having said that, Punk Storm is about the only one I would buy, and her lack of inclusion in the SW box set makes me less likely to pick up that set. BTW, FA Storm just looks terrible next to those two. Minimates have improved so much that it’s sometimes painful to hold the early ones up against the newbies.

Storm is my favorite Marvel character and X-Man, so I’m SO excited we will FINALLY get Mohawk Storm! Very cool! Can’t wait to see when and how she turns up!

Could this be a Mutant Massacre set? Or at least a series that finally works in Mr. Sinister?
There are some key X-Men characters still completely missing like Banshee, Llandra, Corsair, Moria MacTaggart, Toad and Madelyne Pryor.

Meh…i don’t really care for this Storm, or any Storm for that matter; 90s is my favorite, but i can’t stand the character. Oh well; i hope she’s packed with Secret Wars Rogue or She Hulk…

Yes! So happy about this. Storm kicks @$$ and this is an iconic look for her. Unlike a lot of costume variations, this is drastically different enough to warrant a minimate. Thanks, DST. Storm’s my fave.

As much as I would like to add Morlock Storm (and a lot of the others) to my collection it will be impossible because it’s at TRU. I refuse to pay double or triple on the secondary market. The TRU deal is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. I am having my local comic shop look into possibly ordering the TRU exclusives for me. I believe I read that it’s possible here at MMH. Can anyone confirm or deny that? In the meantime, I’ll see if someone here on the board(s) can hook me up.

Give it time, it will pass. They’ve adjusted the case ratio, which should cripple the scalper market, so these things might be more reasonably priced online, and there should be more on shelves to make them more available in areas that should be getting them. They’d likely shake all naysayers if they’d put these back on their website, but baby steps, I suppose.

DST has said in some of their Q&As that they had worked out a deal with TRU to make the exclusives available through other distributors in foreign markets that support the line (wherever those are).
It would be nice if the leftovers here could go into Previews like the various exclusives from other websites, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
