A lot of Marvel fans, which works considering the sheer number of Marvel products still scheduled for release this year. But the top slot went to Marvel series 29, which I assume is because we get two Wolverines in this one. Actually, I suspect the arrival of Moon Knight, Black Panther, and an updated Storm are what pushed this set to the top. A new Daredevil and a Hydra army builder likely helped as well.
Gozerian fans pushed for the second on our list, the second Ghost Busters box set, which is odd because there’s almost no Wolverines in this one. With the second series of Toys R Us exclusive Ghost Busters sets, I’d have thought the hype for this one would have died, since we now have Winston and Ray in their GB1 duds, plus a couple Stay Pufts rampaging the city, but it seems that Gozer is still big on everyone’s want list.
The Marvel Secret Wars box set and the fifth Toys R Us exclusive Marvel series tied for third. Must be the Spider-Man love, since he’s in both of these outings. I’m sure girl Captain Marvel, Beyonder, and Swordsman might have played a part in the popularity too.
Then, there’s Marvel series 32. Girl Wolverine, obviously. Or, the updated Cable, with a couple of Hank Pyms to keep things interesting. Throw in an Iron Man villain and some Kree soldiers, and you’ve got a hit.
The Infinity Gauntlet and Marvel series 30 rank next. This time, it must be the Spider-Man love, since series 30 is filled with him, though I’m certain that the much anticipated release of Scorpion and Electro probably helped. Add to that the appearance of Adam Warlock, Mephisto, and Drax the Destroyer, plus an updated Thanos, and its no wonder we had a tie here.
Rounding out the Marvel presence on the list is series 31. Considering Black Bolt and boy Captain Marvel are both in TRU Marvel series 5, that might have split the vote a bit. Still, with a much better Kitty Pride and Captain Britain, there’s still some love for this series.
Terminator 2 ranked pretty low on people’s wants. I guess there is a limit to how many versions of the same four characters you can put out there before people’s interest fades. I suspect the license won’t live far beyond this second assortment, as there’s only so much damage you can deal to Arnie in one movie.
Bottoming out the list is the Previews exclusive Ghost Busters II Ray and glow-in-the-dark Slimer. It makes sense, consider we’re talking a two pack featuring two variations of figures we’ve gotten several times over stacked up against much larger assortments of figures we haven’t seen before. I’m sure people want it, just not as much as everything else.
So, that’s it for what we’re expecting for this year.
We’re knee deep in reveals for the upcoming 34th series of Marvel Minimates, seemingly based around the 90s era X-Men team. With X-Men being checked off the list, that begs the question:
Which team do you want to see next?
For the interest in saving space, I haven’t listed every team from every era as options, but I think I’ve got a pretty good handle on some of the most requested ones. So, tell us what you think, and we’ll discuss the results on Monday.

Oh good heavens, not this craziness again :S
If I had to narrow down my poll picks, I’d probably have to choose amongst the Young Avengers, the Inhumans, and the GOTG.
“Kang and the Kangettes” sounds like a cross between a cheerleading troupe and a bad 80s rock band.

Whatever happened to AFX’s Exclusive X-Men sets? Those were supposed to be up for pre-order months ago. No real surprise though, with the way that company has been running lately. I won’t be surprised if the exclusives move to another retailer.

Also what happened to the Secret Wars boxset?
Toys r us doesn’t even have it on their website anymore.

Huh. I voted for 31, because it had the most guys on my want list (CB, CM, and BB). But most of the other series have at least one figure on my most wanted list, so it’s all good. Basically, the presence of Storm in that fugly costume (and the fact that I’ll have to buy her for my Black Panther) has made my enthusiasm for 29 less then what it should be.

90′s X-Factor.
Havok, Polaris, Multiple Man, Strong Guy, Wolfsbane.

Every boxset/series of the previous poll is on my wish list.
For this one I’m choosing the original Thunderbolts as I have fond memories of that comic. Although “Kang and the Kangettes” does sound tempting…
There seems to be a lack of villainous teams in this poll, perhaps that’s an idea for the next one?
