Loading ...Art Asylum has announced Marvel series 48, which will be based on the Fantastic Four. Marvel’s First Family has been neglected of late in the Minimate world (minus Thing showing up once or twice), so their inclusion here will please many fans.
The line-up consists of:
Mr Fantastic & Puppet Master
“Flame On” Human Torch & Blastaar
Invisible Woman & Moloid
Alicia Masters & Moloid (variant)
The series will be filled with extra parts and accessories too. Reed comes with a stretched neck, as well as a grabbing arm and a giant fist. Puppet Master comes with miniature puppets. Johnny comes with a new flame base. Blastaar will have new blast accessories for his hands. Sue comes with both translucent and normal limbs, as well as a new force field base and an alternate hair piece. Alicia comes with a sculpture of the Thing. And the Moloids come with…a loincloth. They’re Moloids, they don’t need anything else.
I wonder if its too late to petition for Torch to come with a non-flamed up head/hair. Then we could stick it on an extra Reed body to have a normal Johnny Storm.
I think I need to get like 5 Sues to complete even a few of her looks. I think a Cap hairpiece would work for torch, but I don’t know
the Sue looks awesome!!!!!
I’m really digging this wave. When I saw the pics from SDCC, I was hoping Puppet Master would come with his puppets! I hope the TRU companion wave gives us Annihilus and a similarly uniformed Thing.
Thing will be represented as a bust made by Alicia Masters.
I hope to see Annihilus, Diablo or Psycho-Man appear in the TRU wave.
Good point about Johnny’s head/hair. It would be nice to have a normal face for him.
Even the old version has red eyes.
This is the best looking F4 wave we’ve had yet. I can;t wait to see the final production of Sue’s bubble shield. And it’s *very* nice to see some villains other than Dr Doom represented.

Now that we have M.O.D.O.K. and had the chance to get Mojo I would guess the Supreme Intelligence would also be possible. Maybe as a big accessory in a box set?

I think an FF She-Hulk would fit right in.

@ Robman – i’d love to see F4 She-Hulk make an appearance at TRU, but unfortunately DSTZach has ruled that one out
