Luke’s Toy Store: New Features

Luke’s Toy Store is Reborn With New Features for Minimate Collectors

With their 3rd anniversary coming next month, Luke’s Toy Store has rebuilt their online store from scratch in order to add over a dozen new features for their customers. The biggest change is a new way for customers to save money on shipping. Starting today, customers can choose to have any Minimate item in the store unpackaged and shipped loose in sealed polybags. This service will be especially helpful for non-US customers, as it can decrease international shipping rates by up to 80%, depending on order size. Other new features include customer accounts, faster checkout, customer wish lists, product photo galleries, a new mobile site, and a Luke’s Toy Store news page.

Luke Porter opened Luke’s Toy Store in July 2009 with only 20 products, starting with Marvel Minimates Series 23. The store now has over 200 products, and recently received Marvel Minimates Series 46. Starting with just Minimates and customizing tools, the store has expanded to include loose Minimate parts, accessories, custom figures, sticker kits, display cases, and dioramas.

On top of the good service, and the all around nice guy running the store, I like Luke’s Toy Store because of the easy to post press releases they pass my way. :)

Hard to believe 3 years has passed already.
